This is an easy gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free dessert perfect for any party or get to gathers. You can also pack them in the tiffin as a snack for kids. Til dry fruit laddus are made without using any milk or milk product, so a good for the people who are Vegan.

How to Prepare Instant Til Energy Bites at Home

In this post, you will learn how to make til laddu without refined sugar or jaggery (til laddu kaise banate hain) . Til seeds or White sesame seeds is the star ingredient of this delicious Instant Indian sweet recipe that we make during Makar Sankranti festival. To make these yummy til laddu(til energy balls) you can use any dry fruits or seeds along with til seeds. We are not using any white sugar or jaggery in this recipe.

These dates energy balls are a no baked dessert as we don’t require any baking. Only light roasting of seeds and grinding is done to assemble this healthy dessert. I used simple Indian dates to sweetened the energy balls but you can also try with honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar or even with jaggery but the the taste and texture will be slightly different.

Healthy No Bake Energy Bites Recipe-Step by Step Instructions

1. Put a pan on low flame. Add 2 tsp coconut oil and melt. Now add chopped almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds powder, watermelon seeds, walnuts. Mix and roast them for 3-4 minutes until they become crispy and start giving a nice aroma. Check video for details.

2. Now add coconut powder and roast for another 1-2 minutes.

3. Then Transfer them to a big vessel.

4. Put the pan back on low flame. Add til and dry roast them until they become light golden.

5. Transfer them to the same vessel.

6. Remove the pits from the dates and chop them into smaller pieces. If the dates are too dry, you can soak them in warm water for a few minutes to soften them.

7. After that transfer to them in a grinder jar and make a chunky paste .

8. Now heat 1 tsp coconut oil in the same pan and add dates paste to it. Roast it on low flame till it becomes soft  and smooth. This step takes only 2-3 minutes.

9. Now add this paste to the til and dry fruits mixture. As it it warm first mix with spatula and then use yours hands to mix them well.

10. Take  a measuring spoon of your choice ( according to the size you want to make) and grease it with coconut oil. I am here using 1 tbsp measurement spoon.

11. Fill it with the mixture and press tightly to give it the shape. Now remove it to plate.

12. Make all the rounds using the same method. They are ready to be enjoyed!

13. Store them in an air tight container and enjoy them as sweet or as a snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup white til
  • 125 gm dates
  • ¼ cup chopped almonds
  • ¼ cup cashews chopped
  • ¼ cup hazelnuts
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds powder
  • ½ cup dry coconut powder
  • 2 tbsp watermelon seeds
  • 2 tbsp walnuts chopped
  • 2 tbsp water optional, for consistency

Instructions
 

  • Put a pan on low flame. Add 2 tsp coconut oil and melt. Now add chopped almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds powder, watermelon seeds, walnuts. Mix and roast them for 3-4 minutes until they become crispy and start giving a nice aroma.
