We can make this tea with or without milk. Today, I am sharing this tea with milk. To make this jaggery tea with milk, while making this tea we should keep a few things in mind. That you will found later in the post.

First, boil ginger and jaggery in the water and lastly add milk to it. Don’t allow long boiling after adding milk as milk may curdle. Once you add the milk, cook for a few seconds. Your gud ki chai is ready, strain chai into the cups and serve it hot.

How to Make Jaggery Tea with Milk- Step by Step Guide

1.In a sauce pan add water. Add 1 tsp tea leaves, 1 tsp washed and grate ginger, and 15 gm jaggery or gud. Boil it for 2-3  minutes on a low flame.

2. Then add cold milk, mix well.

3. Now wait till a boil comes. Switch off the flame and strain the tea.

4. Pour the tea into cups and serve hot with your favourite cookies.

Ingredients
  

  • Water 1 & 1/2 tea cups
  • ½ inch or 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp or 15 gm Jaggery adjust as per your preference
