Step by step preparation of Fresh Muskmelon seeds milk at home with detailed instructions and photos. Muskmelon seeds milk is a dairy free milk recipe that we can prepare at home easily in just 5 minutes. It is a gluten-free, vegan and diabetic-friendly milk recipe.
½ cupMelon seeds(Removed from 2-3 medium sized melon)
1 cupchilled water
ice cubes(optional)
Instructions
Cut muskmelon and remove seeds from its center. To remove the white pulp of the fresh melon seeds, transfer them to a strainer and wash with running water under tap.
Once the pulp is removed transfer them to a bowl and add water to soak them for 10-15 minutes. Soaking helps in the softening of the seeds.
Now wash them once again and then transfer them into a grinder jar. Add little water and grind them to make a paste.
Then add little more water and blend again for few seconds to get a thin smooth mixture.
Now put a strainer on a bowl and cover it with a cotton cloth. Pour the seeds mixture.
Close the end of the cloth and give it a shape of potli. Now gently squeeze it till all the milk is extracted and only solid residue left.
Fresh muskmelon seeds milk is ready to use. You can drink it as it is or add it into gravies, curries, ice-creams, or shakes.
Drink the milk immediately or store it in a glass bottle for later use. It stay good for 2-3 days in the refrigerator. Serve chilled and ENJOY!
Pour in the glasses and served chilled or store it in a clean and dry glass bottle and keep refrigerated . It stay good up to 2 days.

1. Soak seeds at least half an hour before grinding. It helps in easy grinding of the seeds.2. After grinding, do not leave the milk at room temperature for a longer time otherwise, it tastes changes. Keep it refrigerated if you want to use it later. It stays good for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.3. You can add any fruit of your choice like mango, peach, chickoo, strawberry, apple, banana to make it more flavourful.
