Step by Step Preparation of Besan ka Chilla with Paneer Stuffing Recipe

1. In a bowl, add besan, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and curd. Mix and add water gradually to make a lumps free pouring consistency batter. Keep it aside.

2. Now take another bowl, add crumbled paneer, chopped onion, grated carrot, salt, coriander powder, roasted jeera powder, dry mango powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix them well and keep aside.

3. Now beat the besan batter for 1-2 minutes. Then heat an iron griddle on low flame, sprinkle some oil and grease with a piece of onion. Once the griddle becomes hot, pour 2 big spoons of besan batter and spread it to make a round disc. Sprinkle oil around the chilla and cook it for about 1 minute and flip it to the other side. Cook from the other side, then transfer the chilla to a serving plate and put some filling on the chilla and fold it. Serve with green chutney and tomato sauce. Enjoy.

For making batter for besan chilla

  • 1 cup Besan
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
